Senior Mechanical Tender & studies Engineer

Position Summary:We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Tender Senior Engineer with a strong background in HVAC systems to manage the preparation of mechanical tender proposals.

The role involves analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:Tender Preparation:Analyze tender documents, project drawings, and client specifications to determine scope and requirements.Prepare detailed and competitive technical and financial proposals, including BOQs and cost breakdowns.Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather quotations, technical data, and specifications.Cost Estimation:Conduct cost analysis, feasibility studies, and value engineering for tendered projects.Develop pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability.Collaboration:Work closely with design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure alignment on technical and financial aspects.Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and discussions with clients to clarify requirements.Compliance and Standards:Ensure all proposals comply with client requirements, industry standards, and company policies.Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in mechanical engineering and HVAC systems.Documentation and Reporting:Prepare and maintain detailed records of all tender submissions, evaluations, and results.Provide feedback and recommendations to improve tendering processes.

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience:3–6 years of experience in mechanical tendering, with a strong focus on HVAC systems.Technical Skills:In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and HVAC design, installation, and standards.Proficiency in tendering software, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.Expertise in cost estimation, value engineering, and preparation of technical documentation.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:Additional certifications in HVAC systems or mechanical project management.Experience in international or large-scale projects.
