Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Design & Development Engineer to work remotely on developing innovative metal products for public facilities and commercial projects.The candidate will be responsible for transforming product ideas into manufacturing-ready engineering files.
Responsibilities:* Design products using SolidWorks.
- Develop 3D models and engineering drawings.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Design products suitable for sheet metal, stainless steel and powder-coated steel manufacturing.
- Develop new products and improve existing designs.
- Prepare manufacturing-ready files for production.
Requirements:* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product design and development.
- Excellent SolidWorks skills.
- Strong experience in Sheet Metal Design.
- Experience in manufacturing and metal fabrication.
- Ability to prepare complete manufacturing drawings and BOM.
- Experience in stainless steel and powder-coated products is preferred.
- Ability to work remotely on a part-time basis.Preferred experience in designing:* Outdoor Furniture.
- Utility Cabinets.
- Waste Management Products.
- Housekeeping Products.
- Architectural Metal Products.
- Stainless Steel Products.Candidates with a portfolio of previous product designs will be given preference.
