Senior Tendering & Estimation Engineer

Job Description & Key Responsibilities:Tender Analysis: Thoroughly review and analyze Tender Documents, specifications, BOQs, and drawings for upcoming projects.Cost Estimation: Develop comprehensive and detailed cost estimations (Direct & Indirect costs) for civil, architectural, and luxury finishing works.Sourcing & Supplier Review: Request, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bidding.Proposal Compilation: Prepare and assemble technical and financial bid proposals, collaborating closely with the tendering team before final submission.Value Engineering: Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions without compromising project quality.Team Collaboration: Coordinate with team members, the Technical Office, and Procurement to ensure alignment and accuracy in all estimates.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.Experience: Minimum of 10 years of solid experience in Tendering, Cost Estimation, and Quantity Surveying within the construction and fit-out sector.Market Knowledge: Exceptional, up-to-date knowledge of local market rates (materials & labor) and strong vendor relations.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD (knowledge of specialized estimation software is a plus).Soft Skills: Outstanding analytical skills, sharp attention to numerical details, strong negotiation abilities, and a proven track record as a collaborative team player under tight deadlines.
