Storekeeper / Warehouse Manager (Oil & Gas)
Job Description
The Storekeeper is responsible for full control of the warehouse and inventory at the main service yard.
This role ensures accurate tracking, availability, coding, storage, and issuance of all materials and spare parts required for drilling rig operations.Proven experience as a Storekeeper in oil & gas, drilling, or heavy equipment environment is required.
Take full ownership of warehouse operations and inventory controlRe-code, reorganize, and optimize the warehouse layout and material classification systemReceive, inspect, store, and issue materials based on approved material requestsMaintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records and stock balancesProvide real-time visibility of stock levels, issued materials, and remaining quantitiesUse inventory management software, ERP systems, and Excel for tracking and reportingPrepare periodic inventory, consumption, and shortage reports for managementCoordinate material availability with operations, maintenance, and procurement teamsConduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepanciesEnsure proper labeling, traceability, and safe storage of all itemsEnforce warehouse procedures, housekeeping, and safety standardsSupport audits and inspections related to inventory and asset controlUse warehouse and inventory software efficiently (ERP / Excel / inventory systems)
