Structural Engineer

Position: Structural Engineer – Modern Engineering Group for ArchitectureAbout UsModern Engineering Group for Architecture is a leading architectural and engineering consultancy with over 20 years of experience across the Middle East.We specialize in delivering innovative, high-quality solutions for medium and large-scale projects throughout the region.Our services cover all stages of design and execution — from concept development to final delivery — including technical specifications, cost estimation, and workshop drawings.We are committed to creating designs that bring real value to our clients and communities.Role OverviewWe are seeking a talented Structural Engineer with around 5 years of experience to join our Cairo office.The ideal candidate will be responsible for structural design and analysis, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering efficient, safe, and cost-effective engineering solutions using advanced tools.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform structural analysis and design for medium and large-scale projectsPrepare accurate structural drawings, calculations, and detailed documentationDevelop DXF drawings and full structural design packagesCreate and manage structural models using ETABS and SAFEBuild a complete Revit model for the project, including all structural elementsProduce structural sections, reinforcement details, and shop drawingsCoordinate with architects and other disciplines to ensure design integrityEnsure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirementsParticipate in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design reviewsProvide technical support during design and execution stages

Qualifications & ExpertiseBachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringMinimum 5 years of experience in structural designProficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP2000, and SAFEStrong knowledge of structural analysis and design principlesExcellent problem-solving, technical, and communication skills

Important RequirementsExperience in consultancy firms, engineering offices, or technical offices is mandatoryCandidates with site-only experience will not be consideredStrong Revit skills are mandatoryApplication NoteShortlisted candidates will be required to complete a Revit technical test during the interview
