Job Description

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on cost reduction, efficiency, and quality.
  • Operations Management:Oversee daily operations, including logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution, ensuring smooth and timely execution.
  • Procurement & Purchasing Leadership:Manage all aspects of procurement and purchasing, from vendor selection and negotiation to contract management, ensuring optimal terms and reliable supply, especially within theAgriculturesector.
  • Inventory Optimization:Implement advanced inventory management techniques to minimize holding costs while ensuring product availability and meeting demand forecasts.
  • Risk Management:Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Performance Monitoring:Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership:Mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with sales, finance, production, and other departments to ensure integrated planning and execution.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Educational Excellence:ABachelor's Degreein Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field is essential.

AnMBAor relevant Master's degree is highly advantageous.

  • Seasoned Expertise:A minimum of5+ years of progressive experiencein Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Procurement roles, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
