System Administrator (Microsoft Exchange)
Job Description
We are looking for a customer-oriented System Administrator (Microsoft Exchange) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Microsoft Exchange and Windows Server technologies, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to work directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while delivering outstanding customer support.Please apply only if you have hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange and are comfortable communicating with customers in English. ITI or NTI graduates are highly preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and troubleshoot complex Microsoft Exchange and Windows Server issues.Handle mission-critical incidents while maintaining professionalism and delivering excellent customer service.Install, configure, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, and software.Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy (GPO), Certificate Services (CA), and IIS.Manage Microsoft Exchange Server (2013/2016/2019) and Exchange Online environments.Configure and manage IIS Virtual Directories, including MAPI, OWA, ActiveSync, and EWS.Administer mail gateways and anti-spam solutions for Microsoft Exchange.Monitor email security, virus protection, spam filtering statistics, and mail delivery performance.Manage mailbox permissions, monitor mailbox quotas and storage, and troubleshoot email delivery issues.Diagnose and resolve mail flow, email routing, Outlook client, mobile synchronization, and Exchange connectivity issues.Resolve escalated issues related to email routing, connectivity, authentication, and filtering.Support customers remotely through ticketing systems, email, and remote sessions.Clearly explain technical issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical customers.Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.Ensure timely resolution of support tickets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.1–3 years of experience in System Administration with hands-on Microsoft Exchange administration.Excellent command of spoken and written English is required.Strong customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills.Experience supporting customers remotely and handling technical support cases.Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange Server (2013/2016/2019), Exchange Online, Mail Flow, and Client Connectivity (On-Premises & Cloud).Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server technologies, including:Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)DNSGroup Policy (GPO)Certificate Services (CA)IISExperience troubleshooting Outlook, OWA, ActiveSync, MAPI, EWS, mail flow, and email synchronization issues.Knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell is preferred.Familiarity with VMware virtualization is preferred.Familiarity with Linux administration is preferred.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.High sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
