Mechanical Design Engineer (Sheet Metal & Weldment)We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in SolidWorks (Sheet Metal & Weldment) to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and preparing manufacturing-ready drawings while collaborating closely with production and quality teams.The role requires a creative mindset and the ability to handle customized designs, not only standard products.

Key Responsibilities:Design and develop sheet metal and weldment products using SolidWorks.Prepare complete manufacturing drawings (shop drawings) with high accuracy.Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, cost, and production efficiency.Develop customized design solutions based on project requirements and client needs.Apply creative and practical engineering thinking to improve product performance and usability.Collaborate with production and quality departments to ensure product compliance and smooth execution.Define manufacturing processes including laser cutting, punching, and bending operations.Follow up on production processes to ensure quality standards and design intent are achieved.Perform cost estimation and material take-offs (BOM preparation).Contribute to continuous improvement of existing products and manufacturing processes.Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation.Coordinate effectively with different departments to ensure project success.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design.Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Sheet Metal & Weldment).Good command of AutoCAD.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (Laser, Punching, Bending).Experience in preparing shop drawings for production.Ability to handle customized designs and non-standard projects.Strong analytical thinking and creativity in design solutions.Knowledge of cost estimation and BOM preparation.Good communication and teamwork skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.We Offer:Competitive salary package.Accommodation provided.Professional and collaborative work environment.
