Tendering & Procurement Engineer (Contracting Sector)

About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Tendering & Procurement Engineer specializing in mechanical systems.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between estimation and execution—analyzing project requirements to build precise technical and commercial proposals, while driving efficient procurement processes to support our active project sites.

Key ResponsibilitiesTendering & Estimation: Review and analyze project specifications, engineering drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) to develop comprehensive technical and commercial offers.System Specialization: Prepare accurate quotations for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.Market Analysis & Sourcing: Conduct continuous market analysis and establish strong communication channels with local and international suppliers to secure competitive quotations.Procurement Operations: Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including issuing Purchase Orders (POs) and tracking material deliveries to ensure zero project downtime.Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Technical Office and On-Site teams to ensure procurement strategies perfectly align with project timelines and technical requirements.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.Experience: Proven experience in tendering, estimation, and procurement within the mechanical/contracting sector (experience with HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems is extra plus).Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, BOQs, and complex project specifications.Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and market research skills, with a high level of organizational capability to track deliveries and manage supplier relationships.
