Job Description
Participate in the overall annual objective setting of the Treasury Department, translate them into annual goals and targets and cascade them down to his own unit in collaboration with his direct reports.
Develop the accounting policies & procedures of his supervised functions, ensuring compliance to the set policies and procedures.
Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities.
Perform bank reconciliations statement against the GL and reconciliation of any assigned clearing accounts.
Ensure activities posted to both cash and clearing GL accounts are reviewed and reconciled in a timely manner.
Execute of all transfers to suppliers with banks, by doing transfer requests and getting the appropriate authorization.
Verify cash transactions; and also investigate and propose possible resolution for any discrepancies.
Manage daily relations with banks and foreign customers and ensuring the smooth daily work flow.
Conduct performance appraisals session of his direct report in due time.
Approve and follows-up on the implementation of training and development plan for department staff.
Lead, manage, and motivate direct reports ensuring that they have clear objectives and receive feedback from them.
Bachelor's Degree of Commerce-Accounting Section Financial Advanced degree is highly preferred. +10 years of experience (+7 in treasury)
