Workshop Head (CNC & Steel Fabrication )
Job Description
Participate in preparing the annual budget for the engineering department and provide proposals to achieve the required objectives.Develop monthly operational plans for equipment and personnel to meet production schedules.Review and approve purchase requests for spare parts and raw materials, coordinating with the procurement department to ensure timely availability.Monitor the production process across all shifts to resolve technical issues, ensure quality standards, and control costs.Ensure optimal utilization of equipment and personnel to maximize productivity and minimize waste.Supervise preventive maintenance activities to maintain equipment in good condition and reduce breakdowns.Oversee the implementation of safety and occupational health instructions to protect equipment and personnel from risks.Guide team members, review work results, resolve work obstacles, and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Evaluate employee performance, identify training needs, and develop action plans to address weaknesses.
Extensive experience in steel fabrication, welding, and traditional machining (Turning, Milling, Grinding).Strong proficiency in CNC operations (Laser Cutting, Bending, Milling, Turning).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Proven leadership, team management, and production oversight skills.Knowledge of preventive maintenance, quality control, and operational efficiency.Familiarity with HSE regulations.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
