job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to join our finance team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting financial planning and audit activities.

This role plays a key part in delivering timely financial insights and contributing to effective financial decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:Compile, examine, and analyze financial information to prepare accurate journal entries and account reconciliations.Distribute expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables in accordance with predetermined schedules and financial policies.Review and audit contracts, purchase orders, and vouchers, preparing substantiating reports prior to settlement of transactions.Assist in performing financial analysis and support the preparation of comprehensive financial statements.Prepare necessary documentation and coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.Record incoming payments, maintain accurate cash flow records, and process bank deposits efficiently.Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and financial reporting.Continuously identify and implement improvements to accounting procedures and internal controls

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance required2+ years of experience in accounting or finance.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong communication and teamwork skills.
