Accountant / US Tax Specialist

Job Title: Accountant / US Tax Specialist Location: Alexandria, Egypt (On-site)

• Prepare and review U.S. individual and business tax returns.
• Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks for U.S.-based clients.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
• Analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies.
• Communicate with clients and team members regarding financial and tax matters.
• Prepare supporting schedules and tax workpapers.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with tax planning and compliance projects.
• Work with accounting and tax software including QuickBooks and tax preparation platforms.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Fresh Graduate only.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with U.S. bookkeeping and tax preparation.
• Experience using QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Experience with Drake Tax, ProSeries, UltraTax, or similar tax software.
• Familiarity with Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, and

1065.

• Knowledge of U.S. payroll and sales tax processes.
• Previous experience working with U.S. accounting firms.
