Accounting Supervisor

Job SummaryThe Accounting Supervisor at Codezone is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

The role includes supervising the accounting team and supporting financial decision-making.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily accounting activities (AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations)Review and verify financial transactions and journal entriesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsEnsure compliance with Egyptian tax regulations and accounting standardsMonitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting processesAssist in preparing financial statements and reports for managementCoordinate with auditors during internal and external auditsDevelop and improve accounting processes and internal controlsLead, coach, and evaluate the accounting team

Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingExperience with ERP systemsVery good knowledge of taxation and compliance in EgyptStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong leadership and communication skillsKey CompetenciesAttention to DetailLeadership & Team ManagementTime ManagementProblem SolvingAccountability
