AI & Robotics Teacher

We are seeking an innovative and technically proficient AI and Robotics Teacher to design and deliver hands-on curriculum in artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics.

The ideal candidate will inspire students to build, programme and think critically about intelligent systems, while fostering ethical awareness and real-life problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

1.1 Curriculum Delivery: Teach foundational and advanced topics, including AI, Robotics and Programming.Plan lessons that balance theory with hands-on labs.Integrate real-life projects (chatbot, face recognition, gesture-controlled device, etc). 1.2 Equipment Management:Purchase and budget for robotics kits (LEGO SPIKE, RoboMaster, etc) and maintain their inventory.Manage access to AI platforms (Google Colab, Jupyter Notebooks, etc).Ensure safety protocols for storing and using soldering, power, and electronic tools.Troubleshoot hardware/software issues during class. 1.3 Assessment & Student Progress:Design performance-based assessments (robot competition, AI model accuracy report, code portfolio)Track individual student progress in coding fluency, debugging and project completion.Provide written feedback on design thinking, documentation and teamwork. 1.4 Co-curricular & Enrichment:Lead after school Robotics Club or AI Research Club.Prepare teams for and join competitions.Organise demo days, parent showcases and industry visits.

Person SpecificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, AI or MechatronicsThree years of AI or Robotics teaching experience in an educational instituteEnglish proficiency is a must SafeguardingWe are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
