The RoleWe're looking for an experienced Underwriter to join our remote team.

You'll be responsible for analyzing and underwriting business-purpose real estate loans.

You'll work directly with leadership and be a key part of getting deals across the finish line accurately and efficiently.

What You'll OwnUnderwrite files from submission to approvalReview and analyze files, financial documents, appraisal reports, entity docs, and borrower credit worthiness.Assess collateral value, deal structure, borrower experience, and overall riskIdentify red flags, conditions, and exceptions and communicate them clearlyEnsure loans meet lender guidelines and internal standardsCoordinate with the origination team to resolve open conditions and keep deals movingMaintain organized, complete, and audit-ready loan files

3+ years of underwriting experience within the real estate, banking, and or finance industryComfort in reviewing reports and guidelinesAbility to review and interpret underwriting documents Detail-oriented with strong written communication, you document decisions clearlyComfortable working remotely and independently in a fast-paced environment Nice to HaveExperience with both banking workflowsUnderstanding of how to underwrite to multiple different guidelines
