BI Front-End Specialist

We are looking for a BI Front-End Specialist with a passion for data storytelling and high-end visualization.

Your primary mission is to build world-class dashboards in Power BI, Tableau.

While the core data architecture is handled by our back-end team, you will be expected to perform "light" back-end adjustments—such as modifying SQL views or updating existing SSIS mappings—to ensure your front-end visualizations remain accurate and performant.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Lead Visualization & DesignTransform complex datasets into intuitive, high-fidelity dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, and TARGIT.Ensure a consistent "Look and Feel" across all reporting platforms, focusing on user-centric design (UI/UX).Create advanced calculations and measures (DAX for Power BI, Calculated Fields for Tableau).

Tactical Back-End Support (Modifications)SQL Adjustments: Modify existing SQL Views to add new columns or filter logic for reports.Model Maintenance: Perform minor updates to existing data models in Power BI and SSAS (e.g., updating relationships or renaming fields).ETL Tweaks: Open and perform basic modifications to SSIS packages (e.g., updating a file path or changing a mapping) without building new packages from scratch.

Data BridgingMap front-end requirements to available back-end data structures and identify gaps.Use Excel for rapid prototyping of data models before finalizing them in the BI tools.

Experience: 1 to 3 years in a Data Visualization or BI Front-End role.Tool Mastery: Excellent level in Power BI and Tableau.SQL Literacy: Ability to read and write basic-to-intermediate SQL (SELECT, JOINs, WHERE, simple CREATE/ALTER VIEW).Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret business requests and translate them into visual KPIs.Technical "Comfort Zone" RequirementsComfortable navigating SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).Ability to open Visual Studio to inspect SSIS/SSAS projects.Understanding of how data flows from a source (SQL/Excel) to a visualization tool.Location: New Cairo, 5th Settlement
