BIM Structural Design Engineer

BIM Structural Design Engineer with experience in designing and analyzing structural systems using advanced BIM tools.

Skilled in developing 3D models, preparing structural drawings, and ensuring coordination between architectural, MEP, and structural disciplines.

Proficient in software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and structural analysis programs.

Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering.Professional Experience:- 3–8 years of experience in structural design and BIM modeling.- Experience in Highrise / Midrise building projects.- Experience in infrastructure projects is a plus.Technical Skills:- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structure) for BIM modeling- Knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination- Experience with structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE,PROKON, SP COLUMN or SAP2000- Strong understanding of AutoCAD- Familiarity with BIM standards, LOD (Level of Development), and workflowsEngineering Knowledge:- Solid understanding of structural design principles (concrete, steel, foundations)- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications- Knowledge of international design codes (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocodes)

Key Responsibilities:- Prepare structural drawings, and documentation- Develop and manage BIM models for structural systems- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project teams- Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts- Ensure models comply with project standards and timelinesAdditional Requirements (Optional but Advantage):- Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud- Familiarity with ISO BIM standards (ISO 19650)- Professional certification or training in BIMSoft Skills:* Strong communication and teamwork skills
