Business Development Engineer

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Specialist with minimum 3 years of experience in the construction or contracting industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders, and contributing to the company's business growth by securing new projects and partnerships.

Key ResponsibilitiesConduct market research to identify new projects, tenders, and business opportunities within the construction sector.Evaluate potential opportunities based on the company's capabilities, strategic objectives, and commercial viability.Build and maintain strong relationships with main contractors, consultants, developers, and key decision-makers.Present the company's profile, technical capabilities, and prequalification documents to prospective clients.Generate and qualify new leads through networking, referrals, and market intelligence.Maintain and update the business development pipeline, including leads, tenders, and partnership opportunities.Coordinate with technical and estimation teams to support proposal preparation and client requirements.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new growth opportunities.

EducationBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.ExperienceMinimum 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing within the construction or contracting industry.Experience in Fit-Out, Finishing, Marble & Stone, MEP, or Fire Fighting Systems is a strong advantage.Familiarity with the Egyptian construction market and tendering process is preferred.SkillsExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.Commercial awareness with the ability to evaluate business opportunities.Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Fluent in English (written and spoken).
