Business Intelligence Engineer - SQL / PYTHON

We are seeking 2 Business Intelligence Engineers to join the GEIST Global Engineering Insights team under BIA

• GOS.

The role focuses on building scalable data solutions, developing dashboards, and delivering actionable insights to support engineering and operational decision-making across the organization.

Technical Assessment needed: Yes Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and model data from multiple sourcesBuild and optimize SQL queries for large-scale data analysis and reporting Develop and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting solutions for stakeholders Partner with engineering and business teams to translate requirements into data-driven insights Automate reporting workflows using Python scripting Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all deliverables Document data models, pipelines, and business logic for team knowledge sharing Support ad-hoc analysis and deep-dive investigations as needed

Required qualifications/certifications: Either Engineering in CS or related fields OR masters in Analytics or Data Science Software / programs / tools: SQL — Advanced proficiency (complex queries, window functions, query optimization)

Python — Intermediate to advanced (data manipulation, scripting, automation)

ETL Logic — Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading patterns Data Modeling — Dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas Communication — Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders Required Years of Experience: 5+
