- Calibrate, adjust, and verify laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable analysis.
- Collect, identify, and monitor samples from all production stages, ensuring proper handling and uniformity.
- Conduct chemical and physical analyses of raw materials, auxiliary materials, and finished products in accordance with approved specifications and methods.
- Follow up water treatment plants operation and analysis for treated different types of water ( raw , waste , …..etc)
- Follow up operation of beet reception lab. for all beet shipments analysis .
- Perform required laboratory tests and experiments in line with established technical procedures and standards.
- Monitor sugar losses during the shift and coordinate with Production and Engineering to identify causes and minimize losses.
- Verify analytical results against target specifications, identify deviations, and ensure finished products comply with quality and customer requirements.
- Monitor the performance of laboratory personnel and ensure compliance with laboratory operating procedures and equipment instructions.
- Record and maintain accurate analytical results, product readings, quality data, and laboratory records.
- Prepare and report laboratory and process quality results, raw material and finished product specifications, and abnormalities to the Senior Chemist.
- Immediately report quality deviations, abnormal results, equipment issues, and non-conformities to the Senior Chemist and relevant departments.
