Collection Specialist

Key ResponsibilitiesCollection ManagementContact customers through phone calls, emails, SMS, and other approved communication channels regarding upcoming and overdue payments.Follow up on monthly installments, down payments, maintenance fees, penalties, and other outstanding balances.Monitor customer aging reports and prioritize collection activities.Negotiate payment arrangements within the approved authority limits.Ensure collection targets are achieved on a monthly basis.Customer Account ManagementReview customer accounts to identify overdue balances.Reconcile customer statements and investigate payment discrepancies.Update payment records in the ERP/CRM system.Respond to customer inquiries regarding payment schedules and account balances.CoordinationCoordinate with the Sales Department regarding customer payment commitments.Liaise with Customer Service to resolve customer concerns affecting collections.Work closely with the Legal Department on accounts requiring legal action.Coordinate with Treasury to verify received payments.ReportingPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports.Monitor collection KPIs and overdue trends.Report high-risk accounts to management.Maintain accurate documentation of collection activities.ComplianceEnsure all collection activities comply with company policies and applicable laws.Maintain confidentiality of customer financial information.Keep accurate records of customer communications.

QualificationsEducationBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience2–5 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.Experience in the real estate or property development industry is preferred.
