Construction Accountant

Prepare and maintain financial records for construction projects.Monitor project budgets and track actual costs against estimates.Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.Prepare and submit invoices, payment applications, and client billing.Reconcile bank accounts and project-related accounts.Manage subcontractor payments and verify supporting documents.Track labor costs, materials, equipment expenses, and overhead allocations.Assist with payroll processing and labor cost reporting.Prepare monthly financial statements and project cost reports.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.Support audits and provide financial documentation when required.Collaborate with project managers to monitor project profitability and cash flow.
