Contract Engineer

Carefully analyzes the contract to build and drive implementation of Contract/Claim Management Strategy Plan.Perform Delay Analysis with the planners Track the Contract`s Detailed Anticipated Final Forecast Values, through Variation Orders, Site Instructions, Claims and Contractual ChargesManage the Contract Administrations worksReport status of current Contract Processes to project manager.Establish and update records of all correspondence related to contract activity in coordination with relevant stakeholders.Supports with the timely drafting of correspondence responses (to employer and other external correspondence).

Further, their timely review, approval, signature, and transmission.Draft binding Letter of Intents, Subcontracts, notices of variations, post contract administration.Follow up with the relevant technical department on the performance of the SubcontractorsAbility to work with a team at all levels of the organization to develop Major Claims.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 6+ years of experience in the same role.Strong understanding of contract requirements In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices is required.Strong proficiency in compiling and presenting written project status reports to executive leadership.Strong knowledge of EPC contracts is a MUST.Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is a MUST.Proficient use of Microsoft Office Applications.Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Problem solving, including structuring problems, performing detailed analysis, and developing & and implementing recommendations.Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.Knowledge of procurement strategies and pre-contract procedures.Excellent Negotiation skills, persuasion, and judgment skillsExcellent at nurturing relationships and stakeholder managementStrong research skills and an in-depth understanding of financial analytics and legal agreements.Fluent in Arabic and English.In-depth understanding of all common forms of contracts, claims, and laws pertaining to contracts.Contract management and Project managementRailway and EPC projects experience
