Cost Accountant

responsible for analyzing and monitoring all costs related to projects, procurement, and inventory, with the aim of optimizing profitability and supporting informed decision-making.

Key ResponsibilitiesCalculate Project Costs (Supply + Shipping + Installation + Operating Expenses).Analyze product costing (e.g., Pumps, Pipes, Cables).Track Import Costs (CIF – Customs – Inland Transportation).Prepare reports:Cost Sheet for each project.Actual vs.

Budget variance analysis.Monitor inventory and determine:Average Cost.Slow-moving items.Coordinate with:Procurement Department (to ensure best pricing).Sales Department (to determine accurate selling prices).Calculate Profit Margins per operation or project.Support management in pricing strategies and decision-making.

Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas).Experience with ERP systems (specifically Odoo, as it is the primary system in use).Strong understanding of:Costing Methods (FIFO / Weighted Average).Import Costing.Strong financial analytical skills and high attention to detail.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce or Accounting.4–8 years of experience (preferably in industrial or B2B trading companies.
