Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain cost accounting structures within Odoo.

Calculate production costs by farm, greenhouse, and crop cycle.

Allocate direct and indirect costs accurately.

Analyze standard versus actual costs.Farm Performance Analysis Calculate cost per kilogram harvested.

Calculate cost per greenhouse.

Analyze yield and productivity metrics.

Monitor labor efficiency and harvesting performance.

Prepare farm profitability reports.Inventory & Biological Assets Support inventory valuation processes.

Monitor agricultural inputs consumption.

Track fertilizer, chemical, peat moss, packaging and irrigation costs.

Assist with biological asset costing and reporting.Budgeting & Forecasting Support annual budget preparation.

Prepare monthly forecasts for production costs.

Analyze budget variances and recommend corrective actions.Management Reporting Prepare monthly operational KPI reports.

Develop dashboards for farm performance.

Analyze trends and key cost drivers.

Present findings to Finance and Operations teams.ERP & Process ImprovementConfigure and maintain cost centers and analytical dimensions in Odoo.

Improve data quality and reporting processes.

Develop costing methodologies and documentation.

Agriculture, manufacturing, food production or FMCG experience preferred. ERP experience required (Odoo preferred).SkillsCost accounting.Management reporting.
