Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities

1.

Inventory Control Monitor inventory movements (receipts & issues).Ensure proper allocation of materials to production.Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory audits.

Production Monitoring Follow up on production plans across different production centers.Ensure accurate recording of production data and material usage.

3.

Costing & Analysis Prepare cost reports and production analysis.Calculate product costs and job order costing regularly.Monitor variances and waste percentages at each production stage.Analyze machine efficiency and utilization rates.Provide recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

4.

Coordination & ReportingCoordinate with Production Manager, Planning team, and production units.Provide accurate reports and insights to management.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.Strong analytical and reporting skills.Good knowledge of inventory and production processes.Proficiency in Excel;

ERP experience is a plus.
