Cost Accountant

Costing section head

• Prepare and review standard and actual product costs.
• Analyze cost variances and identify root causes with corrective action recommendations.
• Review and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and monitor waste and yield variances.
• Monitor raw material, packaging, labor, and manufacturing overhead costs.
• Prepare profitability analysis reports by product and customer.
• Participate in budgeting and cost control processes.
• Monitor inventory transactions and perform cost-related reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare periodic costing and management reports for senior management.
• Lead and supervise the Costing team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
