Cost Accountant

Implements the day to day operations of the cost accounting function from management of unit costs to monthly close and analysisSupport the Cost Accounting Manager in the transition from the existing cost environment to a new cost systemPerform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost statement along with supporting analysisProviding management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.Making estimates of new and proposed product costs.Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers.Monitor and review manufacturing fixed and variable costs.Monitor and review material consumptions vs standard BOM.Monitor and review other cost elements.Investigate, and analyze major cost and yield variances.Ensure proper cost allocation for direct and indirect cost.Ensure inventory valuation and slow moving/obsolete goods provisions are stated in accordance with company policy.Assist FP&A Team in forecast and budget preparation

BSc of Finance/Accounting is a Must.Experience 2 to 3 years as Cost Accountant in manufacturing field .CMA part one Is preferred .ERP Systems knowledge & Application is MUST.Excellent English Commands Spoken & Written is MUST.Excellent Ms.

Office Package (Excel / Power-point / Word / Outlook) is MUST.Ability to work in diverse work culture.Ability to work in a team and individually to meet deadlines with accuracy.Accuracy, organization, and attention to details is must.Alexandria Residence is a MUST.
