Cost Accountant (Pharma Industry)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant with solid experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing production costs, managing cost control systems, and supporting financial decision-making processes.

Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and monitor production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.Prepare cost reports and variance analysis (standard vs. actual costs).Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures.Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to optimize cost efficiency.Monitor inventory valuation and ensure accurate costing (FIFO, weighted average, etc.).Support budgeting and forecasting activities.Review and analyze manufacturing expenses specific to pharma operations.Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.

RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting.Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a must.Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and ERP systems.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced Excel skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
