Customs Clearance Specialist

Handle end-to-end customs clearance processes for import and export shipments.

Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of all documentation (invoices, packing lists, HS codes, certificates, etc.).Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure timely clearance.

Manage inspections and resolve any clearance issues or delays efficiently.

Ensure full compliance with customs laws and regulations.

Follow up closely on shipments to avoid delays, penalties, or demurrage.

Maintain proper records and documentation for all transactions.

Monitor updates in customs regulations and ensure proper implementation.

Control costs related to clearance and logistics.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field. 5–7 years of solid experience in customs clearance (import/export).

Strong knowledge of customs procedures, HS codes, and documentation.

Proven experience dealing directly with customs authorities.

Good command of English.

Strong follow-up, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
