Company: ACO NigeriaJob Title: Design and Technical leadLocation: New Cairo, Egypt About the RoleACO Nigeria is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design & Technical Lead to drive the design, engineering, and execution of solar energy projects.

This role is critical in ensuring high-quality technical delivery, cost optimization, and effective team leadership across project phases.

• Key Responsibilities*Lead and guide the technical team through design and project execution stagesReview and validate engineering designs, site surveys, and technical outputsProvide technical leadership, mentoring, and performance management for the teamPrepare and supervise PV system designs and simulationsDevelop cost-effective technical solutions and project estimationsEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company proceduresCollaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical inputsMonitor and control project costs for awarded projectsIdentify technical gaps within the team and implement improvement strategiesDeliver high-quality technical proposals, drawings, and documentationSupport operational teams with technical expertise

RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringExperience in Large Scale Solar (LSS) projectsMinimum 8 years of experience Strong knowledge of solar PV design and engineeringExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
