Devops Engineer

Overview: As a key player in our IT/Software Development and Engineering team, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between development and operations.

You will champion continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring seamless software deployment and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment.Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.Manage and provision infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.Implement and oversee monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.Drive automation initiatives across the software development lifecycle to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.Ensure the security and compliance of our systems and infrastructure.Participate in on-call rotations as needed to support critical systems.

Skills & Technologies: You will leverage your expertise in DevOps principles, a strong foundation in Computer Science, and extensive experience in Software Development to tackle complex challenges.

Proficiency in CI/CD tools, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Automation scripting, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) will be essential for success.

Experience Level: We're seeking an Experienced professional with 4-8 years of hands-on experience in a dedicated DevOps role or a similar capacity.Educational Foundation: A strong academic background in Computer Science or a related technical field is highly valued, providing a solid theoretical base for practical application.Core Technical Prowess:Demonstrable expertise in DevOps methodologies and best practices.Proven track record in Software Development, understanding the full software lifecycle.Extensive experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.Proficiency with at least one major Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Strong command of Automation and Scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).Hands-on experience with Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).Solid understanding of System Administration and networking concepts.Experience with Monitoring and alerting tools.Adept at Troubleshooting complex system issues.Career Level Expectations: As an Experienced professional, you are expected to take initiative, mentor junior team members, and drive significant projects from conception to completion.
