- Distribution Planning: Prepare daily and weekly delivery plans based on confirmed customer orders, delivery commitments, order readiness, and business priorities.
- Order Consolidation: Consolidate customer orders by geographical areas, delivery locations, and shipment compatibility to maximize load efficiency and minimize unnecessary trips.
- Delivery Scheduling: Determine delivery sequences, planned dispatch dates, and delivery priorities to meet customer requirements and agreed delivery schedules.
- Capacity Planning: Calculate required transportation capacity based on shipment volume, weight, vehicle capacity, and delivery locations, then communicate vehicle requirements to the responsible transportation team.
- Route & Load Planning: Develop efficient delivery routes and shipment allocations to optimize vehicle utilization and reduce transportation costs.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Transportation teams to ensure order availability, resolve planning conflicts, and align delivery schedules.
- Plan Monitoring: Track planned versus actual deliveries, identify deviations, and revise delivery plans when orders, priorities, or operational conditions change.
- Order Prioritization: Establish delivery priorities based on customer commitments, order aging, business requirements, and management instructions.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare daily and periodic reports covering planned deliveries, pending orders, delivery completion, capacity utilization, and reasons for planning deviations.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze distribution patterns and historical delivery data to improve route efficiency, order consolidation, planning accuracy, and service levels.
المتطلبات والشروط
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in domestic distribution planning, logistics planning, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in shipment consolidation, delivery scheduling, geographical route planning, and capacity utilization.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple orders and changing delivery priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
