Economic Research Analyst

Job Purpose:Researching, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data related to markets, operations, finance/accounting, economics, customers, and other information related to the field they work in.Job Accountabilities:Analyze past results and perform variance analysisIdentify trends and make recommendations for improvementsProvide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimizationIdentify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reportsUse Excel functions to organize and analyze dataCreate charts, graphs, and presentations for leadership teamsDevelop recommendations to improve business operations going forward

Education:Bachelor degree in Economics, Business Administration, Social Science or any related discipline.Required Experience:3-5 years of experience in a related fieldBasic Industry Knowledge of Information Technology (ICT).Required Skills:Fluency in written and spoken English.Excellent research skillsExcellent organizational skills.Excellent communication skills.Good with numbers High attention to detailInquisitive &OrganizedLogical & ReliableAbility to work as part of a team.Ability to manage multiple assignments, coordinate with numerous stakeholders and work under pressureExcellent report writing skills.
