Electrical Design

Job Description: The Electrical Design Intern will support the engineering team in the design and development of electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects.

The intern will assist in preparing electrical drawings, calculations, technical documentation, and project coordination while gaining hands-on experience in electrical engineering design practices and industry standards.

The intern will learn: Electrical design principles for building services and infrastructure projects.Preparation of electrical drawings and schematics using industry-standard software.Load calculations, power distribution design, and lighting system design.Coordination with multidisciplinary teams, including architectural and mechanical disciplines.Relevant electrical codes, standards, and engineering best practices.Technical documentation and project design workflows.

Duration: 3 months

Recent Electrical Engineering graduate (Class of 2026) or expected to graduate in 2026.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Basic knowledge of electrical design concepts and engineering principles.Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, ETAP, or similar engineering software is a plus.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Attention to detail and willingness to learn in a professional setting.Strong academic performance and interest in electrical design engineering.
