Electrical Design Engineer

The RoleWe are looking for a high-caliber Electrical Design Engineer to join our design team.

The ideal candidate is a BIM power-user who brings a deep understanding of Dubai-specific design standards and authority requirements.

You will be responsible for taking electrical designs from concept through to a fully coordinated, permit-ready BIM package.

Key Responsibilities:BIM Design & Modeling: Develop high-detail Revit MEP models for all electrical systems.

Ensure all families and parameters meet BIM standards.Systems Coordination: Take the lead in interdisciplinary coordination.

You will ensure electrical containment and equipment are seamlessly integrated with architecture and HVAC/Public Health services.Dubai Authority Compliance: Prepare and review electrical designs in strict accordance with DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) regulations and the Dubai Building Code.Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and adoption of cutting-edge technologies.

Skills & Technologies:This role demands proficiency in Electrical Design, strong Engineering fundamentals, and hands-on experience with Revit BIM and BIM Modeling.

Expertise in AutoCAD, ETAP, Power Distribution Systems, Lighting Design, and Low Voltage Systems is crucial. A solid understanding of relevant Building Codes and excellent Project Coordination skills are also highly valued.

The Foundation: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.BIM Proficiency: Advanced skills in Revit MEP are mandatory.

Experience in Navisworks for clash detection and resolution is highly preferred.Regional Experience: preferred with experience working on projects in Dubai.

You should be familiar with the submittal processes for Dubai-based authorities.Experience Level: [3–7] years in an engineering design office.
