Job DescriptionThe selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and management of electrical systems onboard ships.

Responsibilities and level of involvement will vary based on experience.

Candidates should demonstrate strong technical knowledge, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work efficiently in marine environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems onboard ships
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Collaborate with technical teams on system designs, upgrades, and modifications
• Supervise installation and testing of generators, propulsion, and navigation systems
• Ensure compliance with marine safety regulations and international standards
• Provide technical support and basic crew training when required
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and upgrades
• Apply strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
