Electrical Section Head

Lead and manage the Electrical Department across all company projects.Plan, organize, and monitor electrical engineering and construction activities.Review and approve electrical design documents, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines.Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable electrical codes, and company standards.Monitor project progress and ensure electrical works are completed within the approved schedule and budget.Review and approve material requisitions, procurement requests, and equipment selections.Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering and construction issues.Supervise testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical systems.Monitor productivity, quality, and performance of electrical teams and subcontractors.Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS), Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements, and company policies.Review progress reports, cost reports, and performance indicators.Participate in tender reviews, value engineering, budgeting, and technical evaluations.Identify project risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.Develop, mentor, and evaluate the performance of engineering staff.Promote continuous improvement within the Electrical Department.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.Professional Engineering registration is preferred where applicable.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an advantage.Additional certifications related to quality, safety, or commissioning are desirable.Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.Minimum of 5 years in a managerial or supervisory position.Proven experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure construction projects.
