Electrical Site Engineer

Egyptian Engineering Company (EEC) is a pressure vessel manufacturer located in the 6th of October Industrial Zone in Egypt.

Our goal is to provide safe and reliable pressure vessels to our clients.Objective:We’re looking for an Electrical Site Engineer who’s responsible for overseeing all electrical works throughout the design and installation phases, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Other responsibilities include liaising with Clients, Contractors, and internal teams, and supporting the management team.Duties and Tasks:Prepares electrical tender drawings and control panels, supervises their installation, and provides design details for new and ongoing projects.Designs low-voltage (LV) and low current (LC) systems.Evaluates all equipment and materials used in the project and provides an estimated cost budget.Prepares electrical design calculations (earthing, lightning, and lighting).Performs voltage drop calculations, short circuit studies, and cable sizing.Coordinates electrical design with other relevant departments.Submits reports to site supervisors regarding completed work and any modifications, if applicable.Delivers and organizes the required tasks within the specified deadlines.Reviews area drawings to prepare required materials and equipment.Supervises the performance of subcontractor teams, addresses any issues, and reports them to the Project Manager for necessary action.Oversees and monitors site work carried out by any subcontractor.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.2–3 years of site experience (steel fabrication) in basic design requirements, estimation, installation, and all site activities related to large-scale construction projects.Strong knowledge of electrical design standards and codes.In-depth understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.Hands-on experience in using electrical design and calculation software.Needed skills:Skills & Competencies (Translated to English)Strong organizational and communication skills.Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office applications.Good command of the English language.Negotiation skills.Time management and decision-making skills.Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
