Electrical Tendering Engineer – Medium Voltage Panels

Review and analyze tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and client requirements.Evaluate project requirements and ensure proposed solutions fully comply with tender specifications and applicable standards.Prepare detailed technical and commercial quotations for MV products, including Switchgear, Ring Main Units (RMUs), and Kiosks.Configure products and develop optimal technical solutions using internal quotation and engineering tools.Coordinate with Sales Engineers and customers to clarify technical requirements and ensure proposal accuracy.Liaise with Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, and Engineering departments to obtain pricing, material availability, approvals, and delivery schedules.Develop accurate cost estimations, pricing structures, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support tender submissions.Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, guarantee schedules, and other tender-related documentation.Respond to client, consultant, and contractor technical clarifications and comments during the tendering process.Monitor tender status and follow up on submitted quotations to maximize conversion opportunities.Coordinate required modifications resulting from customer requests or project changes after approval.Maintain comprehensive records of quotations, tender documentation, and project correspondence.Ensure all tender submissions are completed accurately and within specified deadlines.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or a related field.3–5 years of experience in MV electrical systems, particularly Switchgear, RMUs, and Kiosks.Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, MV products, and tendering processes.Experience in technical proposal preparation, cost estimation, and commercial offer development.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.Very good command of written and spoken English.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.Industrial manufacturing background is mandatory.Preferred CompetenciesCommercial awareness and cost-conscious decision-making.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Team-oriented mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.Customer-focused approach with excellent relationship-building abilities.
