Founding Operations Manager (Launch Team)

About the RoleLaundo is a technology-driven laundry pickup and delivery startup launching in Cairo.

We are looking for a highly motivated Founding Operations Manager to build and lead our day-to-day operations from the ground up.As one of the company's first employees, you will play a key role in launching the business, establishing operational processes, managing our partner laundries and driver network, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership, and helping build a company from its earliest stage.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day operations of the business.Recruit, train and manage drivers and operational staff.Build relationships with partner laundries.Ensure smooth pickup and delivery operations.Monitor operational KPIs and continuously improve performance.Handle customer escalations and ensure high service quality.Develop and document operational processes and SOPs.Coordinate with product and management teams to improve operations.Support the successful launch and future expansion of the company.

Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, e-commerce or last-mile delivery.Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Experience managing operational teams is preferred.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.Comfortable using technology and learning new software.Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English.Willing to work on-site in New Cairo.Nice to HaveExperience at a startup or high-growth company.Experience in logistics, delivery, marketplace or service businesses.Experience launching new operational processes or locations.
