Freight Forwarding Operations Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented freight forwarding operations specialist to manage and coordinate import/export shipments across sea, air, and land transportation.

You will be the operational backbone, ensuring cargo moves on time, within budget, and in full compliance with customs and trade regulations—while keeping our customers informed and satisfied every step of the way.

You will be responsible for:Coordinating import and export shipments via sea freight, air freight, and land transportation, from booking through final deliveryLiaising with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, customs brokers, and overseas agents; negotiating operational rates and monitoring carrier performanceCoordinating customs clearance with brokers and authorities, and ensuring compliance with local and international shipping regulationsActing as the primary operational point of contact for assigned accounts, handling inquiries and resolving issuesPreparing and reviewing key shipping documents: Bill of Lading (B/L), Air Waybill (AWB), Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Delivery Orders, and Customs DocumentationVerifying operational costs and supplier invoices, and coordinating with Finance on customer billingPreparing shipment performance reports and tracking KPIs related to delivery, clearance, and customer satisfactionMaintaining accurate shipment records in SAP system

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field3-5 years of experience in freight forwarding operations, covering air, sea, and land freightHands-on experience with customs clearance processesSolid knowledge of Incoterms and international trade regulationsProficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), freight management systems, and shipment tracking systemsStrong command of Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skillsStrong communication and negotiation skills with a customer service orientation
