General Accountant

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles and be capable of handling a wide range of financial tasks, from recording transactions to preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:-Recording Financial Transactions:Accurately record and classify financial transactions using advanced accounting systems (e.g., ERP, QuickBooks, SAP) with minimal errors.-Preparing Financial Reports:Prepare precise financial statements and periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) to support business decisions.-Monitoring Expenses and Revenues:Track, analyze, and report on company expenses and revenues, providing insights and variance analysis to management.-Budget Preparation and Analysis:Assist in creating budgets and conduct budget variance analysis to help control costs and improve financial performance.-Account Auditing and Internal Controls:Review financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards; collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed.-Financial Consulting and Advisory:Provide financial insights and recommendations to management based on data-driven analysis.-Tax Reporting and Compliance:Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and deadlines.-Managing External Relationships:Liaise with banks, suppliers, and auditors, representing the company professionally in all financial matters.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience working in retail or wholesale companies is preferred.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.High attention to detail and accuracy.Knowledge of local tax regulations and accounting standards.
