General Accountant

Job Summary: seeking to hire a General Accountant to join its team.

The candidate must have at least two years of practical experience in the accounting field, with a preference for those experienced in the construction industry.Duties and Responsibilities:Record accounting transactions and prepare journal entries using the French journal system.Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with legal submission deadlines.Track and manage financial custodianships (petty cash/advances) and perform necessary closing and reconciliation procedures.Manage and follow up on supplier/vendor accounts.Handle dealings with subcontractors and transportation contractors, and review their payments/dues.Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports.Monitor financial documents to ensure their accuracy and proper organization.

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, majoring in Accounting, or an equivalent qualification.A minimum of two years of practical experience as an accountant.Experience working with the French journal system.Good knowledge of tax procedures and accounting principles.Previous experience in construction companies is preferred.Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.High accuracy, with strong organizational and time management skills.
