Head Accountant

New Motors, a leading company in tractors, equipment, and agricultural machinery, is seeking a Chief Accountant to join its team and contribute to the management and oversight of the company's accounting and financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reports and data.Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise daily accounting operations and audit accounts.Prepare and review daily entries and accounting reconciliations.Monitor customer, supplier, and bank accounts.Prepare and monitor receivables and customer accounts.Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely collection of dues.Follow up on overdue receivables and develop appropriate collection plans.Prepare periodic financial reports and statements.Supervise monthly and annual closing processes.Monitor sales, purchases, inventory, and spare parts accounts.Review expenses, revenues, and cash flows.Follow up on tax obligations and coordinate with relevant authorities.Cooperate with internal and external auditors.Provide necessary financial reports and analyses to support management decisions.Ensuring compliance with the company's approved financial and accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting major or equivalent.7 years of experience in accounting, preferably with prior experience in commercial companies.Strong experience in preparing financial reports and statements.Proficiency in accounting software (ERP) and Microsoft Excel.Strong financial analysis and account management skills.Ability to lead a team and work effectively under pressure.Accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines.Proficiency in English is preferred.????
