Homeroom Teacher 2026-2027

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Foundation Stage curriculum.Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.Foster children’s early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills.Incorporate play-based, hands-on, and creative learning activities.Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.Monitor, assess, and record children’s progress and development.Communicate effectively with parents through meetings, reports, and regular updates.Collaborate with colleagues and teaching assistants to enhance student learning.Maintain positive classroom discipline and encourage independence.Participate in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities.

Teaching qualification/certification (preferred).Minimum 2 years of experience in Foundation Stage/Early Years teaching.Strong knowledge of early childhood development and pedagogy.Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.Ability to design engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities.Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for working with young children.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff.Ability to adapt and work flexibly in a dynamic school environment.
