Overview: As our Import Cost Accountant, you will be at the heart of our import operations, responsible for the precise calculation and analysis of import-related costs.

Responsibilities:Accurately track, analyze, and report on all costs associated with imported goods, including duties, taxes, freight, and insurance.Reconcile import-related accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to gather necessary documentation and information.Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses related to import costs for management review.Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to process improvements within the import costing function.Participate in periodic inventory valuations and ensure proper cost allocation.Skills/Technologies: We are looking for a professional with a strong command of Cost Accounting principles, excellent Financial Reporting capabilities, and proficiency with ERP Systems.

Expertise in Data Analysis and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are also highly valued.

Experience That Matters: We are seeking an Experienced professional with 3-7 years of dedicated experience in an accounting or finance role, specifically within cost accounting or import finance.Essential Skills:Accounting: Demonstrated mastery of general accounting principles and practices.Cost Accounting: Proven expertise in cost accounting methodologies, particularly in an import or manufacturing context.Finance: Strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting.Financial Reporting: Ability to prepare accurate and insightful financial reports.Inventory Management: Experience with inventory costing and valuation.ERP Systems: Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning systems ( Specially Odoo System will be prefer ) for financial management.Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data.Microsoft Excel: Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision and thoroughness in all tasks.Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial discrepancies.Analytical Skills: Capacity to critically evaluate information and make sound judgments.Career Level Expectations: This role is ideal for an individual ready to take on significant responsibility and contribute immediately to our financial success.
