Interior Designer

We are looking to add an Architect/Interior designer to be part of our integrated team inElSafwa.

This position includes:Managing project design process from project inception through to completion.Programming, strategic and space planning, conceptual exploration, and design development.Continually improving design quality by providing thoughtful solutions to design problems.Collaborate with site engineers to respond to rising concerns.Balancing a desire for design excellence, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.Use your preferred software to create visuals to compare different options that help in making decisions.Undertake design project from concept to completionDefine project requirements and schedule during the “brief”Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plansResearch and decide on materials and products sourcingMatch “samples” and produce “mood boards”Work closely with designers, decorators, architects and constructorsResearch and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practicesCome up with new concepts and designsPrepare the CAD drawings for manufacturing

Preference will be given to a well-rounded individual who strives to push design innovation.An individual who is a hard worker and determined to impress and exceedexpectations.Know how to use Autocad.Know how to use any modeling software: 3dsmax, lumion, Revit, SketchupKnow how to render using either Vray or CoronaHave 3-5 years of experienceBachelor of ArchitectureBA in product or Furniture design applied arts, or fine arts.Extensive home and furniture experience.Identifying & creating new design opportunities through marketing insight that will push this retailer's boundaries and make quick decisions for key designs.Innovation & creativity skills (art direction, graphics, products curating, trend forecasting)Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.Strong visual awareness and an eye for detailHave good drawing skills.Be inventive and imaginativeBe passionate about furniture.AutoCAD and any 3d program is Proficiency.Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions)Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations.Excellent portfolio of previous worksProject management skills
