IT Section Head

Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy, roadmap, and operational plans in alignment with business objectives.

Lead and manage the IT function, ensuring effective delivery of infrastructure, systems, technical support, and IT services.Supervise, guide, and develop IT team members, ensuring clear responsibilities, performance standards, and continuous professional development.

Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, and end-user environments.

Lead the integration of hardware, software, networking, and security systems across company projects.

Ensure the availability, reliability, scalability, and performance of IT systems and infrastructure.Develop and maintain robust IT security policies, procedures, and controls to protect company systems, networks, and data.

Oversee the implementation and management of cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and access control systems.

Support the integration of physical security and access control technologies within relevant projects.

Ensure compliance with applicable IT, cybersecurity, and information security standards, policies, and best practices.

Monitor emerging technologies and assess opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, security, and business competitiveness.

Manage IT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.

Collaborate with project teams and other departments to ensure the seamless implementation of technology solutions.

Manage IT vendors, service providers, contracts, and procurement activities to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.

Develop and manage the IT budget, monitor expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Establish and monitor IT performance indicators, service levels, and operational KPIs.

Conduct regular infrastructure reviews, system audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk evaluations.

Develop and maintain IT business continuity, backup, disaster recovery, and incident response plans.

Act as a senior technical advisor to management, project teams, and clients on IT infrastructure, integration, and security solutions.

Ensure timely resolution of critical IT incidents and technical issues while maintaining high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.

Prepare regular IT performance, risk, security, and project reports for senior management.

Ensure that IT operations and solutions support the company’s current requirements while remaining scalable for future growth.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification is a plus.7+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and technical support functions.Strong experience in IT infrastructure management and IT security.Solid knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and security solutions, including Firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security, VPNs, and Access Control Systems.Experience managing IT projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.Proven experience managing IT vendors, contracts, procurement, and technology budgets.Strong knowledge of IT Service Management, troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and incident management.Experience in IT risk management, vulnerability assessments, business continuity, backup, and disaster recovery.Good understanding of information security standards, policies, and industry best practices.Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing IT teams.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
